Hawkes landing is a deed restricted and enforced planned community development and at completion will encompass 309 single family homes.
Hawkes Landing Residents Community Inc, is a Texas non-profit chartered corporation with deed covenants and deed restrictions that help protect the investments value for all owners. All homeowners are members of the Association and membership is mandatory. The daily operations of the Association are managed by a three member Board of Directors made up of the the developers and builders. To assist the Board with requests and concerns of the community, they have added a courtesy appointed / elected Board Liaison. The Board Liaison attends all meetings of the Board, reports on community concerns and returns to advise the community on the actions taken by the Board. Generally, the Board of Directors meets quarterly and as needed. Members may attend and make presentations to the Board if notice is received at least one week in advance before the meeting date. Members may also rely and request the Board Liaison to make presentations to the Board of Directors on their behalf. The developer controlled Board of Directors has control of the organizations activities as they have a weighted vote. Each property is given one vote in HOA matters, generally at the Annual Meeting held each September. Once the development is completed the control of the Board of Directors will convert to a three member property owner board.
